REMOTE PILOT’S PROFICIENCY IN SPECIFIC CATEGORY

The holder of this “certificate card” has, successfully, completed the

4th Level Training (Masterclass)

developed and conducted by the “UAS Pilot Training Center – PEGASUS AVIATION S.C.E.” and has been successfully assessed for his/her adequacy in commercial and/or mission-based UAS operations in Open & Specific Category.

Therefore, PEGASUS AVIATION S.C.E. and the Hellenic Pilots Association (H.P.A.), recognizes his/her title

General UAS Operator

TRAINING PROVIDED:

The overall Theoretical and Practical Training carried out, meets and/or exceeds the requirements set by European Regulations (EASA) and is as follows:

  • On points UAS.OPEN.020, UAS.OPEN.040, UAS.OPEN.030, UAS.OPEN.050, UAS.OPEN.060 of IR (EU) 2019/947.
  • On points UAS.SPEC.050 of IR (EU) 2021/1166 and UAS.SPEC.060 of R (EU) 2020/639 (Operator’s and Remote Pilot’s responsibilities, respectively).
  • On the topic of Par. 2 of Article 8 of IR (EU) 2019/947 (RP’s capabilities and situation & resource management)
  • Extensive Theoretical Training, developed by the PEGASUS AVN Training Center, based on point UAS.SPEC.050(1)(d).
  • Practice on aerial tasks and/or mission scenarios, both manually and using automated functions, in various environmental conditions, in normal and emergency situations, covering, also and the requirements of AMC1 & AMC2 UAS.OPEN.030(2)(b).
  • Practical Training on STS – Standard Scenarios, (Table 1 of Annex A of IR (EU) 2020/639).

MAINTAINING THE OPERATOR’S  CAPACITY:

Between the period of time defined from the issuance or renewal of his/her certificate until its expiry (which appears on the back of this card), the Remote Pilot should also, at his/her own responsibility, maintain his/her practical ability, improve his/her flying skills and be informed of the possible amendments to the Regulations, concerning the UAS Operations.

VERIFYING THE AUTHENTICITY OF THE CARD:

In case of doubt about the correspondence of this “certification card” with the person carrying it, send by email the Registration Number, which appears on the front side of the card, to academy@pegasusaviation.gr requesting verification.
